-Welcome to the ExceptionalOps Website.

ExceptionalOps is an organization located in Fayette County Georgia which advocates for people with developmental disabilities and their families. We are devoted to promoting the improvement and expansion of supports and services for people with developmental disabilites that reside in our area.

-ExceptionalOps was originally founded as Special People of Fayette County and was established in 1986 by a group of people with loved ones with developmental disabilities. ExceptionalOps is a registered 501 (c) 3 organization, funded entirely by membership dues and donations. Special projects adopted by the organization are typically funded through foundation grants or fundraising events. All contributions are tax deductible.

-Our membership consists of parents, siblings, educators, providers, advocates and friends of persons with Developmental Disabilities.  We are governed by a 9 member Board of Directors that meet monthly on the first Tuesday of each month. Membership dues are $10 per year and meetings occur each month on the second Tuesday at 7:00PM . Meetings are located in Fayetteville in the 1279 Medical Bldg on Hwy 54, just two buildings west of the Fayette Community Hospital . We are located on the 3rd floor and signs are posted directing you to our meeting room. Refreshments are served.
